Today I ran 6km from my flat to here, the treetop walk. On the way, I ran into a band of monkeys that had been given food by a pack of German tourists. While this is a nice gesture, it makes the monkeys very territorial of their goodies. When I approached the monkeys so as to pass them, they made a bunch of noise and gritted their teeth at me. In return, I yelled at them and held up my hands like claws like I was going to rip them apart, wolfy-bezerk style. They moved.
Singapore is so organized that parts of this foot trail were actually one-way, yes a one-way trail. So once you’re on the tree top walk, you can’t turn around. My picture didn’t splice together 100% ok, but it’s still a fairly good representation considering it’s just my phone.
